Just wanted to remark that the "stimulus bill version 2.0" (after the House-Senate compromise) passed the House again, and Carney once again voted in favor of it (just like last time). Good for him.
Let's hope Specter sticks to his guns in the Senate.

Sen. Specter has a lot of influence right now, and his comments indicate he's getting ready to run again in 2010. He's the true survivor (in more way than one) of the PA political scene. I was surprised by his comments about "why do we have to rush this?" Doesn't he have any sense of urgency about job losses and other bad news? I was glad he found a way to support the compromise bill (along with the Maine Republicans).
